Other blogs have been reporting this news, Professor Reiss of the Royal Society has stepped down from his position as head of education over comments he made expressing that he thought creationism should be considered in the science classroom. Of course Dr Dawkins was at the forefront of his call for resignation but he claims [...]

The following link is a tongue in cheek article from a guest writer at Answers in Genesis. While strong in rhetoric I think it makes some excellent satirical points about the position that an all encompassing evolutionary worldview leaves us with, most notably our ability to reason, appreciate and even think about thinking.
No single, essential [...]

While I’m in the mood for some debates I thought I would link to the debate between Dr William Lane Craig and Dr Peter Atkins. Dr Atkins is a scientist and well known atheist who is almost 100% certain that God doesn’t exist. I link to this debate because it’s one of the more comical. [...]

I just caught this post on Wikipedia, famous for it’s ID bashing. It is almost hysterical in it’s tone and seems to feel the need to brow beat anyone who doesn’t accept Darwinian evolution. Among some of the more amusing statements are these:
The petition was produced by the Physicians and Surgeons for Scientific Integrity (PSSI), [...]

Here’s a very interesting article from WorldNetDaily reproduced by CMI. The interviewer is a Christian questioning an anthropologist about his book which shows the evolutionary benefits of rape. It’s a very interesting read.

Musing the evidence

In the time I’ve looked at evidence for evolution and creation I have come across many issues on both sides. Unfortunately it’s difficult to find straight talking answers and proponents of either side that are willing to flat out admit that they don’t have the answer to the questions posed. Both the creationist and the [...]

Reason in the Balance: Philip E. Johnson
Philip E. Johnson masterfully hits the nail squarely on the head this deep but readable analysis of the assumptions which lie underneath scientific empiricism. I found him to be honest revealing early on his faith bias but still honest enough to investigate the issue as a true lawyer would. [...]
Ken Miller: Collapse of ID

It’s been a while coming but I was always intending on watching Ken Miller’s 2 hour presentation called The Collapse of Intelligent Design in which he systematically refutes all of the arguments and shows that ID is creationism in disguise with the ultimate end of establishing theocracy. I was pleasantly surprised. I like Miller, he’s [...]
